NTA NEET Result 2021 To Be Released Soon; Check Details Here

As the NEET examination has concluded and the preliminary answer keys have been made available, applicants anxiously await the NTA’s announcement of the NEET-UG Results 2021. According to media reports, the NTA is expected to release the NEET UG Results 2021 by the end of October 2021. Although, no official information of the NEET-UG result publication date 2021 has been released yet.

When the NEET Result 2021 is announced, applicants will be able to verify their NEET UG 2021 scores at neet.nta.nic.in, the official website of NEET. At the time of the results announcement, the NTA will publish both the NEET 2021 result and the official answer key.

Qualifying Criteria for NTA NEET 2021:

In 2021, more than 16.14 lakh applicants enrolled for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET), with 95 percent of them taking the exam. The NEET 2021 test was administered in 3,800 locations across the nation.

Aspirants should know that the least score necessary to pass NEET-UG 2021 in the UR or general category is a percentile of 50. The NEET-UG 2021 qualifying requirements for applicants from other categories, such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (OBCs), and General-PwD, range from 40 to 45 percentile.

Significant dates for the NEET UG 2021

• NEET UG Exam 2021 was scheduled for September 12th.
• The preliminary answer key for the NEET UG was available on October 15th.
• The window for filing an objection was October 15th.
• The deadline for filing objections was October 17th.
• The NEET 2021 result is expected around the end of October to early November.

Scorecard and Result Via Email

The National Testing Agency released an official notice regarding the response sheet and scorecards before announcing the NEET Result 2021. The notification specified that the agency would send a scanned copy of the NEET 2021 OMR sheet and scorecard to the participants’ registered email addresses.

“Applicants are encouraged to examine, cross-check, and validate their entered email address and confirm that it is their email ID only since NTA will be delivering the scanned copy of the OMR answer sheet and scores to the registered email account,” stated the NTA notification.

NEET Counselling

After the result declaration, the process of college and program allotment begins. First, the aspirants receive admission in a college participating in the NTA NEET examination. The admission is based on the NEET examination marks and is based on the candidate’s preference.

NEET 2021 counseling will commence after two weeks of the results declaration. Candidates should be aware that the NEET 2021 admissions procedure will be divided into the following stages:

• The Medical Counselling Committee will provide nationwide counseling for acceptance to MBBS and BDS programs (MCC).
• Several state government officials will perform State-level admissions counseling for MBBS and BDS programs.
• Acceptance to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and other AYUSH programs will be handled through AYUSH counseling.

Results Expected Soon

The NTA is likely to release the NEET official answer key shortly. The official answer key for NEET 2021 is an updated version of the preliminary answer key. A team of experts reviews the challenges filed against the tentative answer key and, if necessary, makes changes. The final answer key would be available on neet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the official answer key after the NEET Result 2021 or along with it. The exact date for the publication of the NEET 2021 result is yet to be declared by NTA. However, according to speculations, the result might be made public by October end or during the first week of November.
