This set of islands has long been associated with luxury and relaxation, meaning that when most people visit them, they may be a bit overwhelmed with the natural beauty they need to see. After all, you will want to take all of it in, so you will need to know where you need to go to make the most of your time there.

Waikiki Beach, Oahu

Located in Honolulu, this striking beach is one of the most well-known in the world. It offers guests a clear view of Diamond Head, which is a volcanic crater (it’s not active, don’t worry!), as well as its turquoise waters, bustling with fish and other marine life that you can see on a scuba dive or when snorkeling. You can even choose to stay in this beautiful location for your entire trip, as there are Waikiki resort hotels scattered over the area. Imagine waking up in the morning and having such a beautiful view to look at.

Haleakala National Park, Maui

Another site of a dormant volcano, this Hawaiian national park can offer you the most beautiful sunrise and sunset views that you will ever see, as it is located 10,000 feet above sea level, making it the perfect place to take some selfies with your family. This park also has other natural landscapes, including hiking trails, which will allow you to see native species like the Hawaiian picture wing flies, which, if you visit during mating season, will be performing elaborate dances. Volcanoes National Park, Big Island

OK, so back to volcanoes for a minute, the Volcanoes Natural Park has 2 of them, and they are active. Their names? Kilauea and Mauna Loa. So, this allows you to see some truly amazing natural sites that you won’t see anywhere else, such as lava tubes, steam vents, and craters. The landscape of this park makes for an otherworldly experience, but for safety, make sure you stay with the tour groups and do not go off by yourself.

Na Pali Coast, Kauai

If you love waterfalls, then you have to go to the Na Pali coast in Kauai. This area has a naturally rugged coastline with high cliffs, a valley that would make any photo of them look breathtaking, and of course, those high and clear waterfalls.

You will need to get a boat, though, as it is only accessible via boat. However, once there, you can undertake one of the hiking trails ranging from simple walks to challenging.

Pearl Harbor, Oahu If you are a fan of history, then you will want to see Pearl Harbor. The USS Arizona Memorial is located here, as are a lot of other memorials to those brave men who lost their lives on December 7, 1941. This can be a bit somber, so it may be best saved for holidays that don’t have kids on them, but still, it can be a great way to round off a trip.
