Evaporator coil is frozen

Your air conditioner drips water onto your floor because of ice and frost surrounding the evaporator coil. To avoid this, just be sure to maintain a clean air filter and clean ducting. Additionally, you can also check for ice or frost inside your cooling unit.

Low on refrigerant

Refrigerant is the “conditioner” part of the air conditioner. It helps to cool the air inside your air conditioner unit. If the air conditioner has a low level of refrigerant, it is most likely that there is a leak somewhere in the system. If this is the case, then help from a professional technician is needed for immediate repairs.
