Blue Protocol is a new MMO from Bandai Namco and Amazon Games that takes players on an adventure in a fantasy anime world. The title is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 and promises graphics indistinguishable from Japanese animation.
The game will be set on a distant planet Regnas, where the protagonist will make an epic journey through time to learn the secret of his origin. The authors promise a deep combat system, detailed character personalization, and many multiplayer options, including cooperative quests, battles with bosses, and massive raids on high-level monsters.
Chrono Odyssey

Chrono Odyssey was announced in 2020 but has yet to make it to the closed beta-testing stage. However, we hope the game will be available for a broad audience in 2023.
The key theme of the project will be travelling through time, in which the players will have to participate. The authors have yet to reveal any details but promise a lot of unique quests and large-scale RvR battles. Chrono Odyssey is created on Unreal Engine 4 and will be a cross-platform MMO for PC and smartphones.
ArcheAge II

The long-awaited sequel to the popular MMORPG ArcheAge is in development, and it will be a game with a vast, seamless world and beautiful graphics – the basis of the title went to Unreal Engine 5.
In content, players should expect the project to make quests, battles, raids, trade, sea voyages, character development, purchase and customization of buildings, and much more. However, we need to be patient – probably ArcheAge II will not be released in 2023 but will be postponed until 2024.
Diablo IV

Players have been waiting a long time for Diablo 4, and now Sanctuary is ready to open its gates – the release will take place in the summer of 2023 on PC and consoles. In the sequel, gamers can take control of one of five classes (barbarian, druid, necromancer, robber and sorceress) and try to stop Lilith, queen succubus.
According to journalists who have played Diablo IV, the game incorporates all the best of the second and third parts of the Diablo series: dark, brutal, very dynamic and exciting. As for the MMO elements, gamers will be able to team up to fight powerful bosses and challenge each other in PvP, as well as communicate and trade in hub cities.
Bitcraft

Bitcraft sounds like a Minecraft clone, but it’s not – the game doesn’t even use voxel graphics. At the same time, it is also a sandbox game where gamers can build anything they want, albeit with somewhat more limited capabilities than Minecraft.
The game’s story will focus on reviving an ancient civilization, and gamers can develop skills, learn different professions, trade, interact with each other, and explore a procedurally generated world.
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

The long-running MMO, which has been in development for several years, will probably be heading for release in 2023. At least the progress of the creation of the mystery indicates this: by the end of 2022, the authors added a lot of game systems, improved graphics and optimized.
In Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, players will have to travel through a fantasy world and fight various gods. In addition, the title focuses on the relationships between players, including trade, reputation, groups and guilds, and more.
Starkeepers

Starkeepers is a battle-oriented MMORPG with elements of survival simulation with lo-poly graphics. Here, players will incarnate in the form of heavenly creatures that go to the World, taking the guise of ancient heroes to learn their skills and earn recognition.
The game will allow gamers to create clans and rule them, build their fortresses and raid other people’s castles, unite with friends for large-scale raids and perform various tasks.
Justice Online/Justice Mobile

Chinese MMORPG Justice Online is already available for players in China, but it has yet to be released globally and hopefully will be in 2023. It’s a beautiful MMO in a historical setting with a touch of fantasy: gamers will travel to China during the Song Dynasty, and their characters will be able to master running on water, flying and martial arts.
At the same time, Justice Mobile is being developed for mobile platforms – an RPG with beautiful graphics, a hack’n’slash combat system, and the same Eastern motifs in the setting. Announced in 2018, the game is moving toward its release, which we expect is scheduled for 2023.
Hytale

The creators of Minecraft’s Hypixel server have gained experience, founded Hypixel Studios, and announced their debut standalone game, Hytale. They were noticed by Riot Games and invested in the development of the title, the release of which is scheduled for 2023 (however, the authors are not excluded that it can be delayed until 2024).
Hytale is a sandbox game in a randomly generated world filled with multiple zones, biomes, resources, creatures, and players. The latter will be able to fight bosses, explore dungeons, create and trade items, build houses, and so on. The developers point out that this will be “Minecraft on maxed out” – an excellent reason to wait for the game.
Mad World

Mad World – the upcoming free MMORPG, which will be available to players on PC on Steam, in the browser, and on mobile platforms. The game is notable for its visual design, combining comic-cartoon drawing and dark fantasy.
In content, it will be a full-fledged MMO with non-target combat, quests, dungeons, bosses, a classless development system, and other genre components.
Corepunk
- Release Date: 2023

Corepunk was announced in 2019, and gradually the game is moving toward its release: the title is already in beta testing, which means it could reach the final version by next year. It is an isometric game with an open, seamless world, in which players can create characters belonging to the traditional roles (dd, tank, heal) and go to explore the expanse of a distant planet. PvE and PvP battles, dungeons, interactive environments, guilds, trade, raids, and more await them there.
