If you are going to buy an A.C. for your home you will need to do many types of research about the type of product you want to buy, if you buy a good product it would last long but if you buy a bad quality product it will be deteriorated very soon. So, researches are must before buying an ac and today I am going to tell you how you can choose the best ac for home.
The capacity of an AC should be compatible with the size of the room, for example, a room of 120~140 sq feet will need an ac of capacity at least 1 ton, an area of 150~ 180 will require an ac of capacity 1.5 ton and an area of 180~240 will require an ac of capacity 2 ton for cooling the whole room.
During this time due to the rising of electricity usage you should buy an ac of efficient energy model. AC comes with star rated energy efficiency ratings which are also known as EER, this concept was standardized by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), so an ac with more stars will consume less electricity.
Price of the product
The price of an AC is also an important factor before buying an ac. You should be aware of the fact that for every star rating increase there is an increase of 2500 INR (approx) in price.
An ac should contain a good thermostat (temperature setting). Ac should be capable of cooling a room in less time for that it should at least contain two fans.
After-sales services like warranty should be readily checked before buying a product. And you should buy an AC from a trusted seller whom you think would even help you after buying the product for servicing, etc.
Now a day’s AC is not only used for cooling a room but it could also be used for heating a room in winter so if you have that much budget then you can buy multipurpose AC which would even be more beneficial.
Aware of the noise
Some of the ACs’ are so quiet that the only noise you would hear would be the sound of the moving fans inside the AC. But again some AC produces a lot of noise which could disturb your sleep. So, you should strictly check it before buying an AC.
Inverter AC could also be your choice as it is better than normal ACs. It runs at a variable speed, it consumes less energy; it also comes with a better life span as compared to normal ACs so Inverter ACs are better than normal ACs.
